Several individuals working for the People’s Republic of China were convicted in federal court this month, proving yet again that the communist regime has unleashed swarms of agents to gather the sensitive secrets and technology of American business, military and government. But despite the enormity of the problem, there has been very little coverage in the press.

Last week, a federal jury in Massachusetts convicted Chinese nationals Zhen Zhou Wu and Yufeng Wei of conspiracy, illegally exporting prohibited technological equipment to various Chinese military outfits, and several other crimes. The pair used Chitron Electronics Inc., a U.S. corporation which was also found guilty at trial, to acquire the electronics and ship them to the regime through Hong Kong.

“For more than 10 years, this corporation and these defendants conspired to procure U.S. military products and other controlled electronic components for use in mainland China – for military radar, military satellite communications, and military guidance systems. In doing so, these defendants violated U.S. export laws and compromised our national security,” said U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz in a statement about the convictions.

The exported equipment is also used in electronic warfare and some articles even have space applications. “These items could make a direct and significant contribution to weapons systems and war-fighting capabilities of U.S. adversaries,” noted a press release from the Department of Justice.

Both of the conspirators face up to 20 years in prison and deportation after serving their sentences. A co-defendant of the duo, Bo Li, pled guilty to related charges and faces five years in prison and a $1 million fine.

Two weeks ago in California, Chinese spy Chi Tong Kuok was also convicted by a federal jury for similar crimes. Among the technology he sought to provide for the communist regime was communications, encryption, and global positioning system (GPS) equipment used by the U.S. and NATO militaries, according to another press release from the Department of Justice.

"This conviction underscores the threat posed by illicit efforts to obtain sensitive U.S. technology and the need for continued vigilance against such schemes,” said Assistant Attorney General for National Security David Kris in a statement. “The military encryption technology at the heart of this conspiracy is controlled for good reason and I applaud the agents, analysts and prosecutors who kept these goods from falling into the wrong hands."

These convictions are merely the newest additions to a growing list of communist China’s agents, and likely the tip of a massive iceberg. As reported by JBS.org-affiliate The New American magazine in a recent in-depth article entitled ‘Chinese Spying in the United States,’ the regime’s espionage is likely one of the greatest threats to U.S. national security, and dozens of its agents have been arrested in recent years.

“The Chinese are the biggest problem we have with respect to the level of effort that they’re devoting against us versus the level of attention we are giving to them,” said former U.S. counterintelligence chief Michelle Van Cleave in a CBS interview. The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission and many other agencies, officials and analysts agree. Of course, even former President Bill Clinton helped Beijing acquire America’s nuclear secrets and many other sensitive secrets. But the regime is obviously not satisfied yet.

Government estimates of the scope of economic espionage against the U.S. range to a quarter of a trillion dollars per year — and most of that is going to the Chinese regime. China is also actively seeking information on its dissidents living abroad, as evidenced by convictions of Chinese agents around the globe. Estimates on the number of spies working for the PRC, while hard to verify, are reliably placed at about 2 million by author Roger Faligot, who has written dozens of books on espionage with a particular emphasis on China. And most of their efforts are directed at America.

“There’s absolutely no doubt that their long term goal is world domination and to put the United States — as much as they can — out of business, and to become the world’s superpower,” former Canadian Minister of Parliament David Kilgour, also a former Minister of State for the Asia-Pacific region, told The New American for the article on Chinese espionage. “They want to run the whole planet.”

But while the U.S. government claims to be hunting down the regime’s spies, public schools in America are going forward with a controversial new program known as “Confucius Classroom” where the communist dictatorship supplies curriculums, funding and materials for American students.

Lest anyone not catch the importance of these developments, a simple examination of the Chinese government’s barbarous policies should loudly ring the alarm bells. The regime routinely forces women to undergo abortions as part of its “one child policy.” It jails political and religious dissidents and tortures them, or worse, harvests their organs while they are still breathing.

The spying issue should be a top priority for the U.S. government, since it directly endangers American lives and harms U.S. businesses. And while recent convictions should be applauded, there is still gargantuan amounts of work to be done. “American counterespionage — the FBI — has been largely ineffective against the Chinese,” explained Charles Viar, Chair of the Center for Intelligence Studies and a former U.S. counterintelligence official. Hopefully that will change soon. American lives may very well depend on it.

After I reviewed the special program by Coral Ridge Ministries - “Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger” in which an interview of me is a part, I feel compelled to recommend this very informative and very inspiring program to all the freedom-loving Americans.

Freedom-loving Americans? Sounds redundant, like a misnomer, doesn’t it? I used to think all Americans love freedom. They should all love freedom, in my understanding at least, just to be “American”. But after Obama was elected into the White House, I reexamined my view according to this new-found reality: Indeed there are some Americans who yearn for despotism, tyranny and state/governmental-slavery, with their ignorance, greed for power and a defective tendency to excuse their own pathological, irrational and soulless behaviors. They will do just about anything to escape their own individual responsibilities. They search hard for an easy way out of their own misery through some spiritual narcotics such as socialism/communism to find that illusory mirage - “heaven on earth”. (If by now you have not grasped what I mean, just listen again to John Lennon’s “Imagine”.)

I visited Zambia last summer. My daughter Alex is currently serving as a member in the Peace Corps there. Though Zambia is a country heavily influenced by Christianity with churches dotted throughout the landscape, in the village my daughter dwells I sensed tremendous amount of collectivist/socialist mentality – no one, by the constraints of traditional norms and mores, is allowed to get ahead by his own labor/hard work, talent, and ingenuity. Indeed as Winston Churchill pointed out: “Capitalism is an unequal distribution of wealth. And socialism is an equal distribution of poverty.” The compelling illustration of the experiments (in “Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger) conducted by “Amigos for Christ” in Nicaragua shows how socialistic mentality always brings misery and disasters while free market approach with its inherent principle of individual responsibility always channels human beings’ energy toward more constructive purposes and prosperity. I will certainly introduce this great video program to my daughter Alex in her determination and effort to make a positive change for the village people. I wonder how successful she will be to introduce the free market principles into a traditional culture bent toward socialism and collectivism. It is not going to be easy. That’s for sure.

“Socialism presumes that human nature is good, and it is only the social and economic environment that makes people do bad things.” Unfortunately traditional Chinese cultural mindset assumes the same, so the Chinese always yearn for an omnipotent savior in the government/emperors. China went communist, not just because Mao forced himself by the muzzles of guns to get his way. There has always been a deep-seated collectivistic despotism in the Chinese culture, with the same presumption that human nature is basically good. The Chinese people must bear the responsibility and blame for yearning for a God-like savior to save them from the bitter sea in the first place. The Chinese people must change their cultural and habitual presumptions and tendencies to escape from their own individual responsibilities as unique human beings created only by God, not by their government, not by their ancestors or their social and cultural environment, if they ever want to be and will be free.

Christianity corrects this fundamental error in human misjudgment of his own nature. Christianity establishes that human beings must be aware of their own nature as a fallible and imperfect one. Based on this accurate depiction of human nature, Christianity educates mankind to beware of its own imperfect beginning, and to establish human societies with a government controlled by checks and balances within itself, a government limited in scope and functions by a constitution that guarantees all fundamental rights to individual human beings – not to any collective or any governmental institutions. A nation with a government under God (not a government as God, not a government above God,) is a nation that is congruent with the natural law by which individual human being can truly find happiness and fulfillment.

If we say that Christianity is diametrically opposed to socialism, we must recognize Christianity is the philosophical and religious foundation on which modern societies have established themselves, with their indispensible and irreplaceable capitalism and free market institutions. Too bad in China today all the Christian churches are perverted to have become the tools and cronies of the communist regime. Can you truly trust a God that is ordered around by a communist government? As Obama starts to emulate the Chinese communist regime in using faith-based institutions and churches to implement his socialist “heaven on earth”, I advice all Americans to reexamine their own souls and ask themselves this simple question:

What does being an American truly mean?

Taking the biggest mass murderer (Mao) in human history as some saint/god to worship shows the complete moral corruption and a thorough nihilistic mindset/soul of the Chinese people. Such a moral corruption and pathological mindset will surely lead to mortal and disastrous consequences. WASHINGTON

Can you name the greatest mass murderer of the 20th Century? No, it wasn’t Hitler or Stalin. It was Mao Zedong.

According to the authoritative “Black Book of Communism,” an estimated 65 million Chinese died as a result of Mao’s repeated, merciless attempts to create a new “socialist” China. Anyone who got in his way was done away with — by execution, imprisonment or forced famine.

For Mao, the No. 1 enemy was the intellectual. The so-called Great Helmsman reveled in his blood-letting, boasting, “What’s so unusual about Emperor Shih Huang of the China Dynasty? He had buried alive 460 scholars only, but we have buried alive 46,000 scholars.” Mao was referring to a major “accomplishment” of the Great Cultural Revolution, which from 1966-1976 transformed China into a great House of Fear.

The most inhumane example of Mao’s contempt for human life came when he ordered the collectivization of China’s agriculture under the ironic slogan, the “Great Leap Forward.” A deadly combination of lies about grain production, disastrous farming methods (profitable tea plantations, for example, were turned into rice fields), and misdistribution of food created the worst famine in history.

Deaths from hunger reached more than 50 percent in some Chinese villages. The total number of dead from 1959 to 1961 was 30 million to 40 million — the population of California.

Only five years later, when he sensed that revolutionary fervor in China was waning, Mao proclaimed the Cultural Revolution. Gangs of Red Guards — young men and women age 14 to 21 — roamed the cities targeting revisionists and other enemies of the state, especially teachers.

Professors were dressed in grotesque clothes and dunce caps, their faces smeared with ink. They were then forced to get down on all fours and bark like dogs. Some were beaten to death, some even eaten — all for the promulgation of Maoism. A reluctant Mao finally called in the Red Army to put down the marauding Red Guards when they began attacking Communist Party members, but not before 1 million Chinese died.

All the while, Mao kept expanding the laogai, a system of 1,000 forced labor camps throughout China. Harry Wu, who spent 19 years in labor camps, has estimated that from the 1950s through the 1980s, 50 million Chinese passed through the Chinese version of the Soviet gulag. Twenty million died from the primitive living conditions and 14-hour work days.

Such calculated cruelty fit his Al Capone philosophy: “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.”

And yet Mao Zedong remains the most honored figure in the Chinese Communist Party. At one end of historic Tiananmen Square is Mao’s mausoleum, visited daily by large, respectful crowds. At the other end of the square is a giant portrait of Mao above the entrance leading into the Forbidden City, the favorite site of visitors, Chinese and foreign.

In the spirit of Mao, China’s present rulers continue to oppress intellectuals and other dissidents, such as human-rights activist Liu Xiaobo. He was sentenced last month to 11 years in prison for “inciting subversion of state power.” His offense: signing Charter 08, which calls on the government to respect basic civil and human rights in a democratic framework.

China presents itself as a vast market for U.S. companies and investors. But some U.S. companies are taking a second look at doing business in a country which considers Mao Zedong its patron saint. Google has said it is reconsidering its operations in China after discovering a sophisticated cyber attack on its e-mail which the government must have initiated or approved.

Google has revealed what many in the Internet world have known for some time — China routinely hacks into U.S. and Western Web sites for national security and other valuable information. Mao would have enthusiastically applauded this intellectual rape.

I wonder: Would President Obama be so ready to kowtow to China if in the middle of Beijing there was a mausoleum of Hitler and, hanging from the gate to the Forbidden City, a giant swastika?

Fear, Lies and Sickness

Fear, Lies and Sickness

DVD Review - "Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger"

http://redcounty.com/dvd-review-socialism-a-clear-and-present-danger/40238

By Ron Miller | 05/21/10

I had the opportunity to review a recently aired television special sponsored by Coral Ridge Ministries, titled “Socialism: A Clear and President Danger.” The documentary, available on DVD, tackles the rise of socialism in America, and essentially asks the question, “What would Jesus do?”

For Christians, most of whom receive conflicting guidance on this topic, this is a critical question for the times in which we live.

If you’re bored and you want to start something, toss the word “socialist” into a discussion about the Obama Administration and the 111th U.S. Congress, and watch the fireworks.

The President himself bristles at the charge, declaring to the House Republican Conference in Baltimore, “I am not an ideologue.”

In a subsequent speech to the graduates of the University of Michigan, he said “Throwing around phrases like ’socialist’ and ‘Soviet-style takeover’... has the effect of comparing our government…to authoritarian, and even murderous regimes.”

Others complain that those levying the “socialist” charge are hypocrites because they depend on government services daily. I find this argument maddening in its sheer ignorance.

National security, law enforcement, public safety, public infrastructure, and the administration of justice have nothing to do with socialism. These are inherently governmental functions.

Government is designed to be a protector of our rights and enforcer of our laws. The Bible describes government as “an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.”

George Washington declared “Government is not reason. It is not eloquence. Government is force; like fire it is a dangerous servant -- and a fearful master.” Because of this, our nation’s founders took steps to design a central government limited in size, scope and function.

Socialism, on the other hand, is government control or direction of the production and distribution of private goods and services. The confiscation and redistribution of privately-held wealth according to someone’s arbitrary notion of “fairness” is socialism.

If government assumes the role of provider as well as protector and enforcer, and confiscates wealth from private individuals and businesses to perform its expanded role, that is socialism.

When the federal government owns 60 percent of General Motors, the nation’s largest, and the world’s 2nd largest, automobile manufacturer, it has crossed the line into socialism.

What Illinois state senator Barack Obama in 2001 described as “the redistribution of wealth” or “redistributive change” in the name of “political and economic justice in society” is socialism.

When U.S. Senator Obama told Samuel “Joe the Plumber” Wurzelbacher during the 2008 presidential campaign, “I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody”, he was talking like a socialist.

When President Obama declared recently, “I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money,” thereby implying government should dictate wages and salaries, he was advocating socialism.

So when President Obama complains about the use of the word “socialist” to describe his political agenda, our response, paraphrasing the immortal words of William Shakespeare, should be “he doth protest too much, methinks.”

The documentary itself mentions the infamous Newsweek issue, “We Are All Socialists Now,” and shows the Rev. Al Sharpton, an ally of the President, saying “the American public overwhelmingly voted for socialism when they elected President Obama.” They have revealed their agenda, even as the President and his allies try to conceal it.

The focus of the documentary is the struggle Christians seem to have with discerning God’s will when it comes to socialism versus free enterprise, or capitalism. After all, it opines, the language of socialism is seductive to the Christian – who doesn’t want “social justice” or to meet the needs of the poor?

Dr. Jay Richards, senior fellow at the Discovery Institute and author of the book Money, Greed and God, credits socialism with “the best marketing” in terms of appealing to human compassion and the ideal of everyone sharing their possessions so all have enough. In contrast, capitalism, with its emphasis on the accumulation of wealth, appears to be morally deficient.

This siren song cannot, however, drown out the sounds of death and destruction at the hands of socialist regimes throughout history. Since 1917, 120 million people have been killed by communist regimes, the grisly laboratories of socialism.

In the documentary, Joseph Farah, journalist and editor of the website WorldNetDaily (WND), speaks to the failed history of socialism:

“All you have to do is read The Black Book of Communism to see that socialism should be a thoroughly discredited ideology on the ash heap of history, but unfortunately it seems like every generation has to relearn these lessons for themselves.”
The rhetorical appeal of socialism also doesn’t square with the Biblical truth about human nature, and real-world illustrations are presented of failed socialist experiments, such as the Pilgrims’ attempt to use common property to feed and care for one another.

Only when they divided property into private plots were the industrious motivated to produce, and the lazy forced to work if they were to eat. The switch from communal farming to privatized farming led to the colony’s most abundant harvest, and their largest Thanksgiving celebration in 1623.

Amigos for Christ, a charity operating in Nicaragua, describes how it collapsed after following a communal model, reconstituted itself using private property and incentives, and is now thriving, with 120 people starting their own businesses and creating jobs for others.

So why does socialism keep rearing its ugly head?

In addition to flowery rhetoric, the appeal of socialism is kept alive by the academic community, where intellectuals to this day continue to preach the evils of capitalism and the morality of socialism. Socialism’s failures, they teach, are the result of flawed institutions rather than the nature of man, the consistent failure of socialistic experiments at all levels of human interaction notwithstanding.

The documentary features many people who were socialists or Marxists in their college days, but who “converted” to capitalism as they matured, such as Dr. Richards, Dr. Marvin Olasky, provost of The King’s College in New York City, and David Horowitz, an American conservative writer and policy advocate who was a leader in the New Left movement in the 1960s.

The catalyst for Dr. Richards and Dr. Olasky’s conversion was the conflict between socialism and Christianity. Atheism is the cornerstone of socialism which, according to the documentary’s narrator, Dr. Jerry Newcombe, seeks to “dethrone God and undermine the Biblical truth about human nature.” This objective is cited frequently in the writings of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, who together wrote The Communist Manifesto.

The documentary makes a compelling Biblical case for free enterprise. Two of the Ten Commandments clearly speak to ownership of private property. “You shall not steal (Exodus 20:15)” implies private ownership, as does “You shall not covet…anything that belongs to your neighbor (Exodus 20:17)." 1 Thessalonians 3:10 states, “For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: ‘If a man will not work, he shall not eat.’”

It also refutes the liberal claim that Acts 2:44-45 is an endorsement of socialism:

And all that believed were together, and had all things common; and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

This practice was a voluntary act of charity among the believers, and not a clarion call for government to take someone’s wealth and give it to another. While charity is freely given, government programs are thievery masquerading as compassion, and they are fueled by covetousness, envy and resentment.

Socialists present their case as if wealth is a finite asset, and that one person’s possession of wealth comes at the expense of another. To the contrary, wealth is an infinite resource, limited only by the will, the ingenuity and work ethic of human beings.

The documentary uses the analogy of a pie to illustrate the socialist view of wealth. Socialists see the pie as fixed and those who get a bigger slice are leaving less for others. In reality, however, capitalism creates more pies
.

The most compelling testimony in the documentary comes from Kai Chen, a Chinese immigrant who fled the oppression of his home country, came to America, worked at a fast food restaurant while taking adult education classes to learn English, and is now a wealthy businessman with a political science degree from UCLA.

“It's [America] founded for the free souls like me! Now we come here and want to establish ourselves. We create value; we're not zombies. We do not suck value from others! We create value. Now I live in this house; it's a beautiful house. I didn't steal; I didn't rob. I didn't do anything bad. I saw opportunity, I create value, I enjoy my life. That's what it is; that's what America is about.

“You need me! America! You need me, a person emigrated from China, to tell you what this country means. You don't even know what this country means anymore! You lose...you have lost it. You have lost it because you don't read the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence anymore. I was born Chinese, but I chose to be American. I chose to be American because I chose to be free. That's all.

“Once America is perverted, once America is gone, so goes the world. I mean, where am I going to go? Where are the Kai Chens in the world going to go? American people, you need to hear what I say. I'm here to tell you, do not change. You exist with a special meaning by God.”

An extra feature on the DVD, “Socialism and the Media,” describes the role of the media and the entertainment industry in keeping socialism alive. A sermon from the late Dr. D. James Kennedy, the founder of Coral Ridge Ministries, on “Government – A Fearful Master,” and features on the history of socialism and the Biblical basis for a free market, round out the DVD.

The DVD and its companion book, “10 Truths About Socialism” co-authored by Robert Knight and others, are available for sale on the Web

INDUSTRY - Instructional materials for a controversial new Chinese language and culture classroom have come under scrutiny after community members said Friday the books include messages that will indoctrinate children with Communist ideals.

Activist Kai Chen and former Hacienda La Puente Unified Superintendent John Kramar reviewed the materials for the district's new Confucius Classroom on Friday.

"That's part of Chinese infiltration into this country and the corruption of the political culture of America," Chen said of the classroom, which will be funded by the Chinese Language Council International, or Hanban.

After reviewing the books Friday, Kramar and Chen said they believed the Chinese-sponsored literature did not include a thorough account of the nation's history. They were also concerned about several definitions in a Chinese dictionary they said reflect ideals of Communism.

"Are we willing to sell our souls for $30,000, in order to promote another country's superiority over us?" said Chen, a Los Angeles resident who has participated in anti-Chinese government protests. Chen said he was born in Beijing and moved to the United States in 1981.

Kramar, a Hacienda Heights resident, said he has no issue with students learning Chinese language, but said culture has no place in the classroom.

Hacienda La Puente Unfied Superintendent Barbara Nakaoka said several teachers and community members have already evaluated the materials without any serious concerns.

"We've had several of our own internal people review the books and they didn't see any symbols or signs that they are propaganda for the Communist party," Nakaoka said.

Since the board voted 4-1 in January to approve the Confucius Classroom, it has divided the community, with several residents speaking in opposition at nearly every board meeting.

Cedarlane Middle School already has a Chinese language and culture class in operation at the Hacienda Heights campus and Nakaoka said the current educator would continue teaching in the Confucius Classroom.

According to the agreement between the district and Hanban, the organization will provide $30,000 in funding, including the salary for a teaching assistant.

The Board of Education will now do its own formal review of the curriculum and make a decision to approve it for the Confucius Classroom by July, Nakaoka said.

Nakaoka encourages more community input and review when the curriculum materials will be made available again in June.

"That's why we've been open to having anyone and everyone come in and review these books," she said.

Kai Chen Exposes Poisons in Chinese Confucius Material

Kai Chen Exposes Poisons in Chinese Confucius Material

(http://www.dajiyuan.com)

Problems and Issues in the Introduction and Teaching

Problems and Issues in the Introduction and Teaching

-Poisonous Material Provided by Chinese Government for Confucius Classroom-

By Kai Chen 陈凯 www.kaichenblog.blogspot.com

5/21/2010 Email: 1c

“Confusing what is good or evil with what is different only reveals our own moral and intellectual corruption.” – Kai Chen

With the consent of Hacienda La Puente School District, I roughly reviewed the material provided by the Chinese communist government for the Confucius Classroom to be opened in the fall of 2010. As I have expected and predicted, the communist propaganda, poisonous cultural elements, deceptions and lies are everywhere to be found in the material. I will now enumerate just a few below. Further inspection of the material and elimination of the problematic and poisonous elements is a must if the school district board is to be truly responsible for the mental and spiritual health of our children.

1. As I encountered a map of PRC (People’s Republic of China), with its borders including Taiwan, Tibet and other disputed territory, I immediately run into the problem with legitimacy and recognition. ROC (Republic of China – Taiwan) has its own map with its own borders that is much different from PRC’s. Communist China is recognized by UN and most countries in the world but without any legitimacy - a criminal enterprise by the muzzles of guns, deception, violence/threat of violence against its own citizens with a long list of anti-humanity atrocities (80 million innocent lives perished under the reigns of terror since 1949). Republic of China (Taiwan) is not recognized by UN and most countries in the world, but it is legitimate democratic country with a government by the consent of the governed. How will a teacher, being funded by the communist regime in China, adequately address and educate the students about the truth and morality with regard of this issue – recognition and legitimacy? Will a teacher mention Dalai Lama’s position on Tibet?

2. As I encountered the photo of Tiananmen Gate and Tiananmen Square, I wonder how the teacher (imported and funded by the communist regime) will explain the communist slogans on the Tiananmen Gate and Mao's (the biggest mass murderer in human history) portrait and corpse displayed there. Will the teacher mention Tiananmen Massacre in 1989?! Where is the “Tank Man” who has disappeared since 1989?

3. As I saw China’s five-starred flag, I wonder what the teacher will tell the students what it means: a symbol of bloodshed, violence, unconditioned submission and subjugation of the individual to the state will, a society centered around power and government, a state that enslaves human freedom and spirit.

4. Deception: In many instances, the Chinese and English expressions of the same concept/term are entirely different, even opposite. For example, in English, “Hanban” is supposed to be an NGO (non-governmental organization). But in Chinese, it clearly establishes that “Hanban” is just another government branch. Another example: Quite a few books are produced by the Communist Youth League with cooperation of the Chinese Consulates General overseas. The Chinese language clearly states such a fact. But this fact is never mentioned in English.

5. When I encountered the book “Art of War”, I wonder whether students this age should learn about intrigues, deception, and manipulation of the opponents’ emotions just to win.

6. When I saw the Confucius’ quotations, I wonder whether our children should adopt the fake morals such as “Of everything in the world, harmony is the most important”. What about Truth, Justice, Liberty and Human Dignity – the fundamental American values?

7. Some examples/stories/fables in the books for our parents and teachers to think about: (Poisons such as these are everywhere in the material.)

a. “If you are meek as a person, you will be trampled upon. If you are meek as a horse, you will be exploited and ridden by men.” (Doesn’t this diametrically oppose the Christian value “the meek shall inherit the earth”? Clearly a worship of power is established in such an expression.)

b. “If the hare is caught, the hound will be cooked and eaten.” (Should our kids learn not to finish what they started for fear of losing favors of those who employ them? A culture of “Use and being Used” is thus established.)

c. “Using suicide as a means to threaten/blackmail in order to achieve the end.” (Should our kids learn the art of manipulation of human emotions by threatening suicide? What is difference of such a mentality from the Islamic suicide bombers? )

d. Definition of “morality” in the Chinese Dictionary I flipped through is a communist definition: A set of principles by which to behave according to one’s social and economic classes.

e. When a book talks about tourist sight in Beijing, it mentions ruins of Yuanmingyuan (It was looted and burnt down by the allied expedition). But it never mentions why allied forces from the West entered Beijing around the end of 19th century. It covers up the atrocities by the Boxers’ Rebellion to kill all foreigners and missionaries in China. Remember the “50 Days of Siege in Beijing”? Will the teacher, imported and funded by the communist regime, tell the students about the truth?!

Invitation to Review Confucius School Material

Invitation to Review Confucius School Material

Dear all:

Public review of Confucius Classroom material. Reporters are welcome.

Time: Friday 5/21/2010, 1:00 pm. Address: 15959 East Gale Ave. City of Industry, CA 91745

My friend Teresa and I have just reviewed the material for the Confucius Classroom program in Hacienda La Puente school district. Everything is as what I have expected -- the material is laden with poisons, deceptions, lies:

1. Against what the Chinese government claims, the "Hanban" is never a NGO. Stated clearly in Chinese on some of the books, "Hanban" claims to be a government organization directly under the communist control.

2. In quite a few books provided, the introduction clears states the Chinese Communist Youth League is behind the production of the material with the help from Chinese Consulate General in the US.

3. In the Chinese dictionary, the word "Morality" in Chinese has a communist definition: Morality is a principle according to social and economic classes.

4. In many of the stories, ancient Chinese folklore, formed expressions, etc..., worship of power, deception, manipulation of human relations without any moral principles are being blatantly taught. For example, there is a formed expression that "the meek is to be stepped upon" and "strong will take over". Remember what Christianity is teaching us: The meek shall inherit the earth. Opposing view of the world, isn't it?! (No wonder the Chinese follow Mao to worship political power only from muzzles of guns. Do you want your kids to do the same?)

The poison such as this is everywhere in the material. But if you don't speak and read Chinese, you will never know, for the Chinese version and English version are totally different. So the deception continues. The English speakers and readers will not detect the problem easily. I cordially invite you to please join me this Friday at 1:00 pm in the above address. I will explain what is exactly in the material.

Thanks for your attention. Best. Kai Chen

Here I want to correct the facts reported inaccurately by the Fox News: The issue of Confucius Classroom in Hacienda Heights has never been resolved. We will continue to fight the Chinese communist regime's infiltration into our schools. The material the reporter (Anita Vogel) reviewed is not with expert eyes. For example, the Monkey King story has a Buddhist background that may have violated the US law not to have religious education on kids in public schools. --- Kai Chen

Confucius Classrooms in the U.S.

May 18, 2010 - 12:45 PM | by: Anita Vogel

They're called Confucius Classrooms, named after an ancient Chinese philosopher, and they are becoming more and more popular throughout the United States. They are classes paid for, in part, by China and designed to teach U.S. school kids Chinese language and culture. Proponents say it's one extra tool students can use to be competitive in the global environment, but critics say it's nothing more than a subtle attempt by the Chinese government to spread pro-China propaganda.

Confucius classrooms have been around for the past few years and there are currently 60 of them from New York to Oregon. Each is administered through a network of organizations and universities that have deals with the Hanban, China's official language teaching agency. Chinese officials insist the programs have nothing to do with communism and the curriculum was created to help clear up misunderstandings about China. Some parents are not so sure.

In Hacienda Heights, California, just east of Los Angeles, the notion of a Confucius Classroom was highly controversial and caused an uproar in the community. Many parents and longtime community members spoke out against the program suggesting that their kids would be exposed to a communist agenda. However, in the end some issues were resolved and the school board voted to put the classes in place to begin this fall.

At Riverview Elementary, in Lakeside, California, just outside of San Diego, third graders are learning Mandarin at a rapid pace. The principal there, Olympia Kyriakidis, insists this is a major asset for her students. She says in addition to Spanish and multi-media classes, her kids are going to be at the top of their game and ready to compete in the global market. As for concerns that there might be some hidden message being taught in the classes, Kyriakidis says she and her staff personally review all the materials by hand and have yet to find anything off color. She says it's all about language and culture, no politics.

The principal also points to a large American flag hanging in the corner of the room, and says no matter what it's America First.... each class starts with the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States.

Here I only want to express my gratitude toward Coral Ridge Ministries in their interview with me and in their effort to make this program a reality. Indeed America is in danger and America is under attack. We, as free individuals, must assume our responsibilities as such in our mortal struggle against socialism and all forms of despotism. As long as America remains free, all tyrannies in the world will tremble and their days will be numbered. --- Kai Chen

Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger

This stunning new documentary from Coral Ridge Ministries comes at a time when socialism is on the march in America with business bailouts and government-run health care. Featuring fascinating first-hand accounts of life under socialism, footage from Cuba and Venezuela, and experts who once toed the socialist line, "Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger" gives you an illuminating look at the real-world results of Marx and his many followers — and why their failed idea violates God’s Word. It demonstrates that socialism, in any form, is a failed and dangerous idea.

Ten Truths About Socialism

Twenty years after the Soviet empire’s sudden collapse, socialism is on the rise again – this time in America. Uncle Sam now owns or controls much of the auto, banking, and health care industries. We’ve never seen anything like this, but the rest of the world already has. Ten "Truths About Socialism" reveals the record of socialism in lives lost, freedoms taken, and economies destroyed. It’s a warning to America not to let this failed idea take root and bring ruin once more. Get the facts. Get the truths. Find out how socialism breaks God’s law and puts life and liberty at risk.

Sunday TV special: 'Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger'

By Anita Crane

You've probably seen people driving around with the Ichthys Christian fish symbol smack next to an Obama campaign sticker on their cars. Maybe both messages are on your car. For Christians who don't realize the contradiction between these two forces, Coral Ridge Ministries has produced "Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger" and the two-part series debuts May 16 and 23 in the Coral Ridge Hour TV time slot.

This special isn't strictly about President Obama, but Robert Knight, Washington correspondent for Coral Ridge Ministries, explained why he thinks Christians should watch the program.

"A lot of good people voted for Obama for the best of reasons," said Knight. "He came across as a reasonably moderate candidate and the press airbrushed out his radical background, his radical views and the kind of agenda that they knew he would put into effect the minute he took office. And of course that's what has occurred. He has radically altered the relationship between government and its citizens, and he is turning us into subjects of an ever stronger central power in Washington, D.C.

"Make no mistake: Obama is a socialist," Knight said. "And the people with the Christian fish and the Obama stickers on their bumpers can be forgiven for perhaps not knowing at the time they voted for him, but at this point they should know that he's not what he appeared to be. They also need to know that they need to start opposing him and his agenda if they want freedom to be preserved in this country."

Indeed, many Christians apparently confuse charity and corporal works of mercy with government takeovers. However, progressive/big-government officials have little — if any — regard for our human and constitutional rights to life, liberty, private property and happiness. As Knight and his colleagues explain, Christ commands able individuals, not governments, to care for widows, orphans and the poor.

"The biggest misunderstanding is that socialism is somehow compassionate and that it leads to more equity and fairness," Knight added. "But the reality is that it always leads to coercion and despotism because it violates human nature and it goes against God's immutable laws of economics and morality. The evidence has been there for years, but it has been ignored by the mainstream media, educational institutions, Hollywood, and pretty much all the elite who have been instrumental in conveying societal values."

Jay Richards of the Discovery Institute appears in "Socialism" explaining that he was swept away by Marxism as a college student. After investigating its deadly results, he wrote a book exposing it.

Likewise, former Communists David Horowitz and Marvin Olasky discuss the hazards of socialism from doctrine to deed: including the 120 million persons murdered in the name of equality and social justice.

Even Rev. Al Sharpton unwittingly contributes to the Coral Ridge Ministries' special. In a Fox News clip, Sharpton states, "...Americans overwhelmingly voted for socialism when they elected President Obama."

One of the most moving testimonies comes from Kai Chen, who was born in China four years after Chairman Mao took over. He described the horror of China's Communist regime seizing families' private property, such as homes and farms. Many Chinese families were so desperate to survive that when their children died of starvation, they had to resort to cannibalism. Because it sickened the parents to eat their own children, families would swap the corpses of their little loved ones. Mr. Chen immigrated to the United States, where he is a Christian businessman who provides employment for his fellow citizens.

In "Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger," Coral Ridge Ministries enters Venezuela to examine the socialism of Hugo Chavez and his henchmen. The Chavez takeovers are remarkably reminiscent of Red China and a warning for U.S. citizens.

In this documentary, Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota says that the U.S. government has usurped 50% of our economy by seizing banks, mortgage companies, the largest insurance company, General Motors, and the healthcare industry.

Beyond the scope of the TV special, the irony of ironies in President Obama's "healthcare" law is that people without health insurance — people who can't afford it — will be subject to fines and jail sentences. How does this help the poor?

"Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger" features further analysis by Coral Ridge Hour host Jerry Newcomb; publisher and businessman Steve Forbes; Prison Fellowship's Chuck Colson; Bishop Harry Jackson, Jr. of Hope Christian Church; Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention; Wendy Wright of Concerned Women for America; Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily.com; and Matt Spalding of the Heritage Foundation.

Robert Knight and other scholars wrote 10 Truths About Socialism, a complementary book for the TV special. To see the more about the programs and search for a station airing them on May 16 and 23, or to purchase the DVD and book, visit DangersofSocialism.com.

Who will warn the West of the mortal threat

Thursday, May 13, 2010

Who will warn the West of the mortal threat to its existence as Einstein did to FDR in 1939?

(Lev Navrozov emigrated from the Soviet Union in 1972. His columns are today read in both English and Russian. To learn more about Mr. Navrozov's work with the Center for the Survival of Western Democracies.)

After Lenin and Stalin established their Russia-wide prison, everything in it became revolutionary: the countrywide prison was officially called the "Union [!] of Soviet [!] Socialist [!] Republics [!]". No wonder Mao's countrywide prison has been called the "People's Republic of China." You see? "Republic" is not enough — it has to be "People's Republic"!

As for National Socialism in Germany and Fascism in Italy, the National-Socialist Germany began to be called "Nazi" Germany, with the implication that nothing is as anti-Socialist as "Nazi." Or as "Fascist." The word "Fascist" comes from "fasces," the rods, held before magistrates in ancient Rome, and Roman Law is still regarded as the basis or origin of legal justice. But the word "fascist" began to denote right-wing brutality: in Stalin's Russia, to call Stalin a fascist (loudly enough) would have meant to run the risk of being (secretly) tortured to death.
Today it is obvious that the new society like the "People's Republic" is made of Absolutism, as it existed for millennia, and private enterprise, as it has been developing in the Western "bourgeois countries." Absolutism in Stalin's Russia or in the People's Republic of China has preserved its military advantages in warfare.

On the other hand, private enterprise is efficient, especially if foreign capitalists are invited, in the production of whatever is needed for daily warfare. Unique projects are handled by institutions of Absolutism.

Hence the People's Republic of China combines Absolutism and private enterprise, with attention to the working force such as the requirement to have one child per family, since this is better for absolutism than even two children to grow up in poverty, one of whom may become a criminal, as in a Soviet underground song.

One child per family becomes a developer of the latest weapons or their user in the army, commanded by the Absolutist owner of the country.

So: Absolutism plus private enterprise, inviting foreign capitalists. What is mortally dangerous to, and possibly fatal for the free countries is that the population of China is 1.3 billion. That is, for the United States, with its 300 million people, this is like being confronted with four countries of its own population size.

In WWI and WWII, the United States was out of reach to German aviation. The owners of China have been developing space warfare, whereby each point of the United States is expected to be as accessible to space weapons as Britain was accessible to German aviation.

So far no authoritative group that I am aware of has addressed the American population with a message warning about the threat of annihilation of the United States by China's global attack with space warfare weapons and in alliance with Japan and whoever else would join China's space warfare crusade.

At the beginning of his presidency, President Obama had a two-day meeting with top China officials, whereby Obama proclaimed friendship between the two countries. Nowadays he has declared that the U.S.A. is more powerful than the People's Republic of China, and hence all fears are unfounded.

Totalitarism has its military advantages, while democracy has its own. The military strength of a totalitarian society comes from the conversion of its entire population, beneath the level of the country's totalitarian owner, into slaves or better yet into tools performing what their owner wants them to perform in time of peace or war.

Democratic society has its own strength obvious from the statistical fact that many thoughts indispensable for wining a war come from the minds of "people," not "specialists." Thus Einstein did not even have the status of an immigrant in the United States. He fled Germany as a fugitive from "justice." His guilt was being a Jew, and to face German "justice" would mean to face death. Yet owing to his letter to U.S. President Roosevelt in 1939, the United States obtained nuclear bombs earlier than did Hitler, who lost the war and committed suicide, since he failed to have nuclear bombs earlier than the United States.

Thus, the thinking of a foreigner in flight named Einstein was more important than entire thinking of all democratic governments and their military men put together. But for this to occur, the people without any posts or salaries and in flight, like a fugitive such as Einstein, had to know what Winston Churchill said in his famous speech about the life-or-death determination to fight Hitler's Germany.

One essential note would be in place. Suppose a British or an American spy in Hitler's Germany had an opportunity to go through all German government records to find out Einstein's involvement in the development of the nuclear bomb in Germany. The spy would find nothing, because Einstein was never connected with it. He wrote to Roosevelt about nuclear research going on in Germany because he thought about it, but bureaucratically speaking, he had nothing to do with it. Similarly, his nuclear bomb message to Roosevelt in 1939 was not a result of any connection with any development of such a bomb in Germany, but a result of the thinking of a man of genius.

Thus democracy enabled the brilliant mind of a scientific visionary, a fugitive from German "justice," never connected with nuclear research in Germany, to come to the logical conclusion about the need to start the development of the nuclear bomb in the United States and obtain it ahead of Germany to save the United States and other free countries from being destroyed by Nazi Germany.

The threat from the People's Republic of China to the United States is no less serious than was the threat from Hitler's Germany. Citizens of the democracies must know China's intentions, as in 1939 they knew about the threat coming from "National-Socialist Germany" owing to Einstein.

Otherwise the advantages of the democracies (freedom of thought) will be lost — just imagine what would have happened if Hitler's Germany had obtained nuclear weapons ahead of the United States.

Never forget that Bill Clinton made China the super power of the 21st Century!

Great commentary! China has already deeply weakened the USA economically, aided and abetted by the ultra-greedy U.S. businessmen who are lined-up at the airports to go to China to set up shop. The list of blows to the American people by the Chinese goes on - intense cyber attacks and spying, the pirating of American technology, the poisoning of US citizens with tainted medicines and food, etc. So we are in affect, bankrolling the Chinese military machine, a machine that will one day bite the hand that fed them.

A Speech by General Liu Yazhou

Kai Chen's Words:

www.kaichenblog.blogspot.com

General Liu's speech indeed surprises me. As someone in the Chinese military, he indeed exhibits his own conscience, rationality and courage to see the truth/reality in this speech. This is a lot more than what I can say to some so-called anti-communist groups and self-claimed anti-communists. To see America not as a moral/human ideal, but as some collective/race/territory is a common mistake by those from a culture of despotism/tyranny. Thus we can take Mr. Liu as China's Admiral Yamamoto - someone educated in America but had to serve a despotic regime as a soldier. --- Kai Chen

16/11/2009 14:50:00 By Gong Cheng /Renmingbao

Liu Yazhou,a deputy political commissar of the Chinese Communist Air Force in an internal speech a few years ago, expressed his fear of the United States. He said that he most feared America's "spiritual and moral strength"!

The opening question of his speech was "What is the real fear of the United States?" He stated that "even though the United States has the world's most powerful army and the most advanced science and technology, I think that is not the most scary at all. It is said that its stealth aircraft are free to come and go in China, but even from that we have nothing to fear. The fearful things are not these. "

In that case what is the fear of the United States? The Chinese Communist Air Force lieutenant general said: "I feel there are three points."

The aspirational/promotional system of the United States

The Chinese Communist Air Force lieutenant general said: "The cadre system and its mechanism to ensure that decision-makers are an elite group. The tragedy of China, from national affairs to local, is that in the majority of cases the people with ideas are not the decision-makers, the decision-makers do not have ideas. People with brains do not have a seat, People with a seat do not have a brain. The United States is just the opposite, with its valuable system that allows people to aspire to greater heights."

Therefore, in the U.S. - first, he did not make mistakes, second, he makes fewer mistakes, third, he made a mistake but he can quickly correct his mistakes. We make mistakes, this is the first. Second, often make mistakes. Third, it is very difficult for us to correct the mistake that we made."

The tolerance and magnanimity of the United States

Liu said: "The Americans can wear the flag on their clothes. I have brought a stars and stripes pair of trousers in the United States. I usually wear it. I wore it because I despised it and to release my anger, it is a psychologically dispersed satisfaction. Americans wear it for fun. It is essentially different. Americans can burn their national flag in the streets. Dai Xu (author’s friend, "the Air Force military academic" editor) said: if a country can burn their own flag, what other reason do you have to burn it? "

Great spiritual and moral strength

Liu continued: "This is the most horrible. 9.11 was a disaster. When disaster strikes, the first casualty is the body, but the soul continues to stand up. For some nations when disaster strikes, the soul has already disarmed before the body falls.

Three things occurred in the 9.11 incident, from which we can see the power of Americans. The first thing is after the top of the World Trade Center was crashed by the plane, raging flames were surging and the situation was critical. When people escaped through the exit to go downstairs, they did not particularly panic. People went downwards and the firemen rushed upwards. Each gave way to other with no conflict.

When there were women, children and the blind, they were automatically let go first. They even let a pet dog go first. If the spirit of a nation is not valiant to a certain extent, certainly they are not able to act in this way. In the face of death and being as calm as this, I am afraid that even though they are not saints they should be very close to saints.

The second thing, on the day after 9.11, the world already knew that this is the act of Arab terrorists. Many Arab shops and restaurants were attacked by angry Americans. A number of Arab businessmen were also attacked.

At that moment a considerable number of Americans spontaneously organizes themselves to protect the Arab shops and restaurants. They patrolled Arab residential areas to prevent further tragedy. What sort of spirit is this!?"

"The third thing is that the 767 plane that crashed in Pennsylvania, was supposed to be crashed into the White House.

The passengers fought with the terrorists before the aircraft crashed. At that time, they already knew that the World Trade Center and the Pentagon had been hit, and they decided that they could not do nothing.

They carried out a life-and-death struggle against the terrorists. Even in such a situation, they still did one thing: they decided to vote whether or not to fight the terrorists.

In such a matter of life and death, the Americans do not impose their will on others."

Democracy

"What is democracy, this is democracy. The idea of democracy has gone deep into their lives, their blood, and bone marrow. Such a nation, if he did not prosper, then who will prosper; such a nation, if it did not rule the world, who can rule the world. "

Liu concluded "I often have a fantasy: the world's most sophisticated weapons, the latest science and technology, the most powerful armed forces, are in the hands of these people (Americans), nevertheless it is very appropriate."

If "it was in our (CCP) hands, what would we do"?

A Speech by General Liu Yazhou

(Kai Chen comments: Mr. Liu cannot escape his own collective identity as a Chinese. National interests (China's interests) still ranks high in his priority (He is indeed a military officer). His comments, though with words such as America as an enemy, shows he is fighting hard against China's anti-American elements.

Morality/Immorality, Chinese Style

Kai Chen's Words:

Mr. Li's article is a rare piece that penetrates the evil core of the despotic, man-eating Chinese culture. Christianity is the foundation on which he based his moral judgment and analysis. I only hope more people will be like Mr. Li, gradually establish a moral foundation in Christianity to guide their thinking and behavior. Thus a just world for free beings can be possible in our future. --- Kai Chen

In Chinese history, no one has reflected upon its cultural and spiritual foundation after an anti-humanity atrocity/crime committed by the government or the rebels. But the truth is undeniable: Not to see our failure in our cultural formation is the biggest failure of the Chinese. --- Mr. Li Tie
