陈凯一语： Kai Chen's Words:
The evil specter of communism did not retreat into the oblivion since the downfall of the Berlin Wall. Now this evil spirit is under new management with a new wrap, pushed out onto the world stage by the Chinese communist regime with its "state-controlled development model" and a "neo-socialist agenda" by the Obama administration in America. Be aware and beware, people! The price of freedom is our eternal vigilance.
Agenda: Grinding America Down
Communism is Infiltrating America
February 18, 2011 By Zack Lawrence
“When Idaho legislator Curtis Bower wrote a ‘letter to the editor’ about the drastic changes in America’s culture, it became the feature story on the evening news, people protested at the Capitol, and for weeks the local newspapers were filled with responses. He realized then… He’s hit on something.
Ask almost anyone and you’ll hear, ‘Communism is dead! The Berlin Wall came down.’ Through the word Communism isn’t used anymore, this film will show the ideas behind it are alive and well. Join Bowers for a fascinating look at the people and groups that have successfully targeted America’s morality and freedom in their effort to grind America down.”
This unexpected winner of the “Best of Festival” Jubilee award at the 2010 San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival takes you on a fascinating and sobering journey through the Communist agenda for America and the world.
It is chock full of interviews with individuals who have studied the history and goals of Communism, and paints a frightening picture of how much the agenda to destroy the Judeo-Christian culture has succeeded. A word of warning. If you like President Obama, you will hate this film. But don’t let that detract from the message that the godless ideologies of Communism have infiltrated practically every aspect of American society. If you’re the political type, this film should get you pretty riled up no matter what side of the aisle you’re on!
I attended the 2010 SAICFF and was surprised to see this film win. Mostly because I hadn’t even heard of it! I’m not big on documentaries, so I was curious to see what it was about Agenda that would cause it to beat so many other fantastic narrative films. For only being an hour and a half long, it sure felt a lot longer. It seemed like they dwelt too much on each section, with several people reiterating the same point.
Additionally, I found it worrisome that only one person even remotely suggested a solution to the true root to this problem. Oh, don’t get me wrong, there were plenty of people saying that Conservative Christians needed to get involved in politics and stand up for their beliefs. And those are valid actions and I support those that do. But I feel that the true root of this Agenda is the rejection of God by the lost. The political aspects are but symptoms of the disease. The cure is people coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, submitting to His lordship.
“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Rom. 10:14)
“’…Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.” (Matt. 28:19-20)
That being said, we do need to know what we’re up against. Agenda: Grinding America Down does a good, if long-winded, job of presenting the tactics and plans of Communism, and how it is affecting our culture.
